The 2009 Abyssinian Health Ministry Lenten Program
From February 18, 2009 through April 14th, 2009, Dr. Terri Kennedy led two Power Living signature programs for The 2009 Abyssinian Health Ministry Lenten Program - combining the Seven-Day PWR Detox with the 40 Days to Power Living programs. For the special lenten program, Dr. Kennedy led in-person sessions at Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem, as well as teleclasses.

5th Annual Spirit of Feathers Retreat
From Friday, June 20th through Sunday, June 22nd, 2008, Dr. Terri Kennedy facilitated the 5th Annual Spirit of Feathers Retreat at the St. Alphonsus retreat house in Poughkeepspie, New York. The non-profit organization mentors young girls and women of color who are healing in some aspect of spirit, mind and body. The theme was "Soaring to New Heights." The women received "an immersion" into the Power Living empowerment techniques.

NYC Ministers' Wives Retreat
From Friday, January 4th through Saturday, January 5th, 2008, Dr. Terri Kennedy participated in The Second Annual Search Your Heart Sunday... Go Healthy Monday... NYC Ministers' Wives Retreat. During the two days, she led a series of sessions including "A Personal Moment: Meditation & Relaxation," "Identifying your Life Purpose," "Nutritional Facts" and the closing "What Now...?" call-to-action segment. Sponsored by the American Heart Association, this event brought together the First Ladies/wives of some of the most prominent preachers in Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx. The retreat was held at the Edith Macy Conference Center in Briarcliff Manor.

Universal Sisters: Celebrating Health & Soul Event
On Saturday, November 3rd, 2007, Dr. Terri Kennedy was the keynote luncheon speaker for the Universal Sisters: Celebrating Health & Soul Event at the Hilton Hotel in New York. She presented a talk titled: "Unleash your True PWR: Purpose With Results." She also led an interactive break-out session introducing the "Power Living: Mini-Escapes" energy management techniques. The event reached over 700 women interested in transforming their lives, and was held in partnership with Abyssinian Baptist Church with national sponsors such as Wal*Mart and L'Oreal.

Sister to Sister International Conference
On Saturday, September 15th, 2007, Dr. Terri Kennedy was the morning keynote speaker for the Sister to Sister International Conference entitled "Sisters Beating the Odds and Claiming Wellness" at the Westchester Marriott in New York. She joined Essence Editorial Director Susan L. Taylor, who was the luncheon keynote, as well as other powerful women including State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins, journalist Carol Jenkins, PR expert Terrie Williams, and Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Carla Harris.

The Sistah Summit
Dr. Terri Kennedy has participated in The Sistah Summit in Santa Fe, New Mexico, as well as their event in Savannah, Georgia. She was the Keynote Speaker with a talk entitled, "Power Living... From the Inside Out." She also led a workshop entitlted "What If... Refocusing The Way You Think" and two Healthy Living workshops. In addition, she led a stress management session for the event planners.

SHADES 2005 Health and Beauty Conference
On Saturday, June 4, 2005, Terri Kennedy spoke at the SHADES 2005 Health and Beauty Conference held at the Radisson Hotel in Denver, Colorado. She taught an early morning yoga class and gave the lunchtime Keynote Speech on "Power Living: Creating Success from the Inside Out."
